Mentors (2 positions) will receive a rate of $20/hour for an avg. of 5-15 hours/week with a bi-monthly pay period (a total of 360 hours/season) .

  • Employment period: 7 months, from April 1, 2024 - October 31, 2024

Mentor (1 position) will receive a rate of $20/hour for an avg. of 5-10 hours/week with a bi-monthly pay period (a total of 190 hours/season).

  • Employment period: 6  months, from April 1, 2024 - September 30, 2024

Mentors (2 positions) will receive a rate of $20/hour for a 36 week season (avg. of 10-15 hours/week) with a bi-monthly pay period. Employment period: March 2024 - September/November 2024.

Bike Walk Tompkins is dedicated to promoting sustainable transportation solutions and empowering individuals through education and advocacy. We believe in the transformative power of biking to improve health, reduce carbon emissions, and foster community connections. As part of our commitment to promoting biking as a safe and accessible mode of transportation, we are seeking five passionate and dedicated Education & Mechanic Mentors to join our team. You will work closely with community members, schools, and organizations to promote biking as a safe and sustainable mode of transportation through hands-on instruction, workshops, and outreach activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for biking, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to promoting biking equity and accessibility.
